 Jean-Léopold is Executive Chairman of Interel, a leading European strategic communications and Public Affairs consultancy. His main areas of client focus are Crisis & Issues Management and Belgian Public Affairs. He started his career as a special advisor to UNESCO in Trinidad and Tobago and went on to serve as the MD in the South American, Caribbean and Pacific region of Teleprint International, a Swiss telecommunications and information company.
Jean-Leopold has been the President of ICCO and also the BPRCA, the Belgian association of public relations consultancies. He is currently President of PROI (Public Relations Organisation International), the largest network of independent relations consultancies, and serves on the International Board of Directors of Junior Achievement - Young Enterprise Europe. He is also Vice-President of EPACA, the Brussels based European Public Affairs Consulting Association and a member of its executive committee. Jean-Léopold graduated in Economics from the University of Louvain (Belgium) and studied on scholarship programmes at Harvard Business School. He speaks fluent French, Dutch, English and Spanish.
