Financial Services seen as weakest performer for 2008 |

Compared with last year, a summer survey by the CPRF showed that US firms expected Financial Services to be the weakest performing service sector by far in 2008. (On the flipside were Healthcare, Consumer Products & Services and Technology, all of which were seen as promising areas.) Given the current economic roller coaster and global wave of government intervention into the financial sector, these predictions seem prescient to say the least….
